I started surfing at the age of 10 in Palos Verdes, CA. Surfing has remained an invigorating part of my life for the past 23 years. Nothing leaves me feeling as healthy and refreshed as an hour or two spent in the ocean riding waves. The worries and troubles of the world disappear and I feel connected to nature again. I would love to pass on the sport to future generations so they too can feel the joy of surfing. I am currently working as a Special Education teacher in the San Diego City School District, and I am looking forward to teaching kids how to surf this summer.
