Joe Prussack
Aloha, have you ever heard the saying "only a surfer knows the feeling"? My name is Joe Prussack and I am a credentialed school teacher and surfer. Surfing has been a huge part of my life for over 13 years. In 2000, I was fortunate enough to turn a long-time dream into a reality as I spanned the globe in search of perfect waves and genuine smiles. Along the way I was able to work as a surf instructor in Australia. Being able to do something you love and at the same time make a few dollars is incredible. The summer of 2002 was also one of my most memorable as I ran a surf camp at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. It's one of the best jobs in the world because you get to experience with each child their feelings of accomplishment and stoke. Just seeing how much a child improves and progresses throughout the week is amazing!
